I fucking hate Genta! He is an absolutely useless idiot who can only eat and well eat even more. Detective Boy episodes are already bad enough, why do we need that fatso to make them even worse.

My god, after that slew of just mediocre filler after mediocre filler this case felt like bliss. Like, it's not even close to being one of my favorites but it's like I had withdrawals from actual competent murder cases that this just did something to me man. Even with the bad subs too 😭😭 Also goddamn the culprit was definitely more evil than usual, especially the motive

it really was a good case, since nobody new had been introduced i knew it had to be one of his 3 friends and the motive was something concerning the accident mentioned in part 1. i figured since the dead guy always drove, he was the actual person who rented the car, and therefore by process of elimination he was the one driving when the accident happened.

thing is, that lady didn't need to kill him. he was driving, he was in control of the car, he hit the guy, he's ultimately responsible for the death of the pedestrian. all the passengers were entirely innocent in that death. shrug, if her job paints her with a 'murderer' brush so easily, she needs a more intelligent group of co-workers. as in quit and get a new job. :/

more than one file of this episode fails at 22:30 and immediately rewinds back to the start of the file. check multiple servers and find one that doesn't. otherwise you'll miss Conan's conversation with Insp. Juugo, the bonus scene, the 'next time on Conan' bit, and the 'next Conan's Hint' bit.
